El mercado de Chichicastenango, uno de los más grandes mercados típicos de Guatemala, se encuentra situado en el municipio del mismo nombre y en el departamento de El Quiché del altiplano del país.  Ofrece al turista la cultura Quiché demostrada en varias facetas de la cuales podemos mencionar, artesanías, tejidos, costumbres, joyería, etc.  Los días en que se celebra el mercado es el jueves y domingo de cada semana, se apertura alrededor de las 06.00 horas y finaliza aproximadamente a las 18.00 horas.

HANDICRAFTS  TOUR No. 5

Chichicastenango market is one of the bigger typical markets in Guatemala, it´s sited in the village of the same name and in the zone of El Quiché in the Guatemalan highlands.  It offers to the visitors the Quiché culture showed by different faces, like handicrafts, weavings, customs, jewelry, etc.  The day market take place on Thursday and Sunday every week, it´s opening around 6.00 in the morning and finishing around 6.00 in the afternoon.
